Wendland is by Wendekreis who is sire of 45 approved sons and has offspring competing in Grand Prix jumping and Grand Prix dressage.
Windsor is out of Walburgis by Weitblick who is sire of Grand Prix horses such at the jumper, Wotan. Weitblick is by Fernjaeger who is in the pedigree of the International Grand Prix jumper stallion, For Pleasure, and is grandsire of International Grand Prix jumper and Olympic gold medalist in Montreal 1970 , Warwick Rex.
Windsor's grande dam is Bunette, by Busoni xx, who has an enormous influence in his pedigree. Bunette produced the double Olympic gold medalist, Gigolo, ridden by Isabel Werth. Busoni xx is ranked 17th with the breeding value index for dressage out of 1800 stallions in his age group.
